Just Dreamin

Deep within the fog filled valley

Life, awakening as echoes blend

Dawn's dew, savored and sweeten

In the quiet sleepy tones of the morn

At a point where winds separate for the day

Rustling among fragrant filled flowers

The spirit of nature is freed

Measured time is forgotten, lost

Enmeshed among the silhouettes

For a brief moment I lay, there

Tall towering blades of grass, reaching

In hopes to touch the sky, just once

Dreamin dreams, keys to locked doors

Precariously placed pathways with no end

Remembering that we are earthly bound

I am left still whispering fly, fly away.
